Mannings Bakeries have been at the forefront of Irish In-Store-Bakery (ISB) innovation for over 50 years.
Established in Dublin in the fifties Manning’s Bakeries were on the frontline of the ISB industry from the beginning. Manning’s have had the fortune to also work with all the multiples, retailers and principal food service companies in Ireland.
Over the last half century Manning’s have adapted and grown in response to an evolving market from Ireland in the Sixties to a post 2008 market, innovating for another generation. At various stages throughout its history Manning’s have responded to an opportunity by expanding either its expertise, technology or product range.
Today the Manning family employ over 250 people in the Dublin area in long term sustainable employment in the bakery industry. Ever evolving to meet the latest and next trends in bakery, Manning’s success has not gone unnoticed overseas and as part of their evolution they have developed export markets including, United Kingdom, France and Spain.
We have a policy of investment in people and machinery to ensure that the standards set from the outset of the business are adhered to today. We recognise the changing face of the marketplace and are always ready to respond to our customers needs.

Manning’s Bakery is the classic tale of humble beginnings. A young but ambitious Cecil Manning came to Dublin from Ahascragh, Co Galway in the 1950s. With a penchant for hard work and innovative ideas, Cecil Manning opened his first shop with his wife Patricia on Collins Avenue, Dublin. Manning’s Bakery wouldn’t be the success it is today but for the passion, time and effort invested by long-serving staff and three generations of the Manning family.
Today we use specially designed bakery equipment which replicates the original profiles and personalities of the breads and confectioneries which made us favourites over the last 50 years, such as our famous Irish Brown Sodas and artisan yeast breads.
In short; we supply contemporary products with coherent designs and consumer friendly solutions. We deliver all our freshly prepared frozen products to you on time, either unbaked or fully baked.
